A simple card can change someone’s day.

Chosen and Anointed Outreach is committed to bringing encouragement, joy, and the love of Christ to individuals living in nursing homes, assisted living communities, rehabilitation centers, and other care facilities.

Through our Handmade Encouraging Cards Outreach, children, families, and community members come together to create heartfelt cards filled with words of kindness, hope, prayer, and encouragement. These cards are lovingly made and shared with those who may sometimes feel alone, forgotten, or disconnected from the world around them.

Our purpose is to remind each recipient that they are not forgotten, they are loved, and they are deeply valued by God. We want every card to serve as a small but meaningful reminder that Jesus sees them, cares for them, and loves them.

This outreach is also an opportunity for children and families to experience the joy of giving. As families create cards together, children learn that kindness does not have to be complicated or expensive. Sometimes the smallest act of love can make the greatest impact.

Through this experience we teach the importance of selflessness, compassion, generosity, empathy, and serving others. Children learn that they have the ability to brighten someone's day and make a difference in another person's life simply by taking the time to care.

Our hope is that every card carries more than words—it carries love, encouragement, prayer, and the light of Christ.

A handmade card may only take a few minutes to create, but to someone who receives it, it may become a treasured reminder that someone thought about them, someone cared, and most importantly:

Jesus loves you.

You are seen.

You are valued.

You are remembered.

You are never alone.

We believe that when we teach our children to serve others, we are helping build a generation that understands that true joy is found not only in what we receive, but in what we give.
